Maija Merchant, MS, LAc. has a Masters in Science in Traditional Asian Medicine and draws from 20 years of experience in Ethnobotanical and Functional Medicine, Quality and Transparency Testing, and Botanical Research and Formulation. Maija has worked for Dragon Herbs, Fat Turtle Herbal Pharmacy, Mother Nature's Remedy and the iconic Los Angeles health food store Erewhon Organic Grocery. In the past few years, Maija has focused on consulting and botanical research for Madre Labs and iHerb. When she’s not working, she is snuggling with her beloved pets for the mutual benefit of good health and well-being.
