This is the pain formula, not the bruise formula. It's the ointment, not the cream, which is not easier to absorb in the skin. It is very effective relieving pain but is thicker and you must rub it into the skin more vigorously. This works better than Aspercream, Bengay, or even Lidocaine. Hope it works for you.
This is a very thick quality cream that I like using while doing gua sha. It’s similar to vaseline and does seem to help bruises fade faster which is the most talked about benefit of Arnica of course. It’s very thick so a little goes a long way and the package tube lasts a long time therefore. It doesn’t smell like hemp quite but more like a softer herby scent.
I used this for years, until recently pain levels increased and it didn't hold up under that, so I had to switch to a stronger product. But for medium pain, try it, as it worked well for me for a long time. I will say, however, that they've gradually increased their prices, so I don't know if this will continue or not. But I still recommend it.
