I was looking for a vegan prenatal DHA and I trust this brand so this is all I've taken since I've been pregnant. Unfortunately they changed the gel capsule from a thin oblong and red to a more round, clear capsule. The clear capsule allows for the taste to come through, which unfortunately is fishy! It does make sense, considering it's algae, but that taste combined with the rounder shape makes it harder to swallow and sometimes I gag. I've honestly dread taking these now, but I do trust the brand, so I'll continue until my due date which cannot come soon enough!

I love this Prenatal DHA product! It has a very light taste, unlike any other fish oil I’ve taken, which is so helpful when you’re pregnant and you already have to deal with nausea and upset stomach due to hormone fluctuations. The fish scent/flavor is almost undetectable. Personally, I haven’t had any of the fishy-after-burp issues that come along with most fish oil products. Also, works great if for whatever reason you choose to open the capsule and mix the contents with a little juice vs take the capsule as is. Additionally, I love that it has DPA in it - studies show that it has better cardiovascular and anti-platelet aggregation effects than EPA, which is super important during certain pregnancy phases.
