The best antifungal and antibacterial spice in the world! I recommend getting it in the wholesome ground form and add it to your smoothies, salads, or stews. This has the only thing that helped me to get rid of multiple yeast infections that I used to suffer from. I literally tried everything from conventional drugs, creams, and topical steroidal solutions and they all failed! I did not see an improvement until I added cloves to my diet and this product was my brand of choice.
I always love this brand and the most of my spices I use are from this brand. I wandered if I should get the whole one or ground one. I decided to get ground one because it’s easy to use for my chai. Can’t wait to add it to my chai:))
I wanted to try ground cloves for my tea. It gave such a stimulating aroma to my tea. I like it. I've read that it can be put in coffee too, but mmm, I didn't really like the taste of it. Quality is good as I only need to put a little amount and I get the aroma I desire. Package was also good, it didn't break in the box.
I love clove, it smells so warm and inviting. It’s a great ingredient to use for baking. The quality from simply organic is high and it tastes great. The package size is better than what is available locally for me. I use it in a lot of recipes along with cinnamon.
Great quality and single ingredient with a wonderfully pungent aroma and deep clove flavour. I have used it to make beef stir fry. I should say that it works much better when combined with other spices like cinnamon, black pepper, ginger and even anise, which seems to approximate the Chinese five spice flavour. Those blend very nicely, especially with beef or duck in my experience. With that said, a little goes a long way since the product is such high quality. Too much and it might not be very palatable.
Simply Organic is my favorite brands for herbs and spices. I like the design of the glass bottles and the quality of the spices are excellent! The taste and smell of simply organic spices are so much more genuine and intense than other equivalent spices avaliable in my country. They also look great lined up in my spice drawer. I have been buying this brand for many years and I will coutinue to buy them as long as I can.
I also use iHerb as a source for herbs and spices for cooking. The selection is terrific and the quality is excellent. In my country, the main supermarket stores ran out of ground cloves two years ago and haven't stocked it since... so I was really happy to fine some on iHerb! In general iHerb is a great site. Great products, immense choice, competitive prices. Much better than what you get in stores in my country. iHerb, if you're listening: please offer more traditional herbs and spices! Where is your asafoetida (ferula assa-foetida)? Where is your mace (myristica fragrans aris)? and others!
It's a bit pricey, but I'll usually gladly pay more for organic ingredients. Clove is good in baking things like pies and is really high in antioxidants. It also has properties that can help you overcome illnesses and infections. Some even rub it on their gums when they are sore.
Got this because it was cheaper here than other stores. Used it in baking, and it has a very strong taste and scent. Compared to the flavor, the size of the container will last quite a long time. Seems like it has quality ingredients. Can recommend this product, good to use in recipes.
I love whole cloves, especially studded to ham before roasting! But I have to admit this ground ones is convenient when I add to other dishes. So yes I keep both. Each and every spice I bought from Simply Organic is fresh and fragrant. the array of the bottles lining up the shelf makes you happy. And I'm glad I could buy from iHerb as the local stores do not have as many flavors and much more expensive!
