Ubiquinone and ubiquinol are two forms of CoQ10 used in supplements. Ubiquinone is the oxidized form; ubiquinol is the reduced form. Products vary by form, dosage, format and other ingredients.
Ubiquinol, the reduced form of CoQ10, is generally more expensive to produce than ubiquinone, one of the bigger price differentiators. Softgel vs capsule format and overall potency also contribute.
